Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2 will be released on 29 October 2010 ! I’m a huge Star Wars Fan and I will be getting this one for sure. One of my earliest memory as a child is going to see Star Wars at the movies which was also the first film I got to see on a big screen .. I cannot explain and tell you the impact the film had on my small 7 year old brain. I basically came out and could not stop thinking about the Star Wars film for weeks and weeks (years?) and I just felt lost living on this boring planet … I just wanted to return to the galaxy far far away and become a Jedi and join the rebellion (or the dark side?) and fly on the Millenium Falcon … Through the years I really enjoyed playing Star Wars games and the first one was Dark Forces (which I got for XMAS) – a first-person shooter video game developed and published by LucasArts released in 1995 on Apple Mac. I also really loved playing Rebel Assault, Jedi Knight, X-Wing, Battlefront and even the Lego Star Wars! The last few years the quality of games are just getting so good and impressive that when I see the amazing trailers for the next upcoming Star Wars games – I just think why don’t they just make full movies like this !!!

Star Wars The Force Unleashed 2
Here is one of my latest personal artwork I finished last week and I called it Punktopus. I rarely have enough time to do personal artwork but I do manage sometimes to get into something and once I have the idea/concept in my mind and once I get started I know I must get it finished at one point. I’ll probably get this printed as a big poster and get it framed to see how it looks like on a big format and on paper.
Shihad was formed in 1988. Ignite – the eighth studio album has recently been released and I’ve been listening to it non stop as it’s just that good ! I have been a fan from the early years and always really enjoyed listening to this band from New Zealand. They have had very visual and interesting music videos and they have just done it again with the amazing crazy video “lead or follow” which you must absolutely check out NOW !! >> Click here

The name Shihad was chosen after members of the band saw David Lynch‘s 1984 film, Dune, based on Frank Herbert’s classic science fiction novel of the same name. Incidentally, “Jihad” is also the term used by Muslims, roughly translating to “the struggle”, or as a reference to the “Holy War”.
I got to work on the design for the DVD and GUI of the new release from Zero-g who are a company totally dedicated to sampling, sound FX and music production. The ANIMATO String & Flute FX for Cinema - 4.5Gb of cinematic audio inspiration! Animato contains 3000 samples and 139 separate Kontakt instruments each with its own custom GUI created especially for this project. For more info about Animato >> Click here
The illustrations and work of Lydia Lys Selimalhigazi are a collage of mysterious, surreal, romantic and fantastic worlds which I think are totally beautiful. She works in Freelance for magazines and designs flyers, book covers, posters… You can see more of her work on her website >> Click here
This is a new remixed version of both ‘The Death and resurrection show’ and ‘Souls are Recycled’ which I adapted to a landscape format and then got into working on some new textures and new details. This is going to be available soon as Limited editions prints on a website I have recently joined – I’ll give you all the info very soon ! Exciting stuff !

I’ve been following Jeff Soto‘s Blog for years ! I just love his style and themes and I just hope I will see an exhibition of his work one day. Part of the Pop-Surrealism movement, his work contains elements of nature, graffiti, street art, skulls, robots and many lovely monsters. His visuals are just amazing !

Last saturday night I went to see a MetalTech gig for the second time in a pub in Edinburgh called The Banshee Labyrinth. I had bought their ALKOMATIC EP a few months ago and got into listening to their mix of electronic beats blended with distorted guitars and a voice which sometimes reminded me of Rob Zombie. They are Erik Tricity on Vox, Guitars, Programming, Synths, Drugs, Beer / The Insidious Doktor Mayhem on Guitars, Red Bull, Petrol / Lord Thrapston Flagellator on Bass and Beer and Beer and Beer and Beer!! They are a lot of fun to go and see and listen to with songs which all stick into your brain with lyrics like “Let’s burn the world … let’s burn this fuckin planet….” on Burn Your Fucking Planet or “do you want to get wasted …we are going to drink to the mornin’ light’ on Wasted. Make-up, confetti, sex dolls and blacklight! Guaranteed to make you dance, drink and chant along to the choruses! … and to want to destroy this planet ! Think Orange ! Think MetalTech ! Check them out LIVE and for more info, photos, videos and where to buy the latest EP click on links below !!!!
