Static Plan Digipak

I have just added a new digipak to the portfolio. Static Plan is an Alternative Rock/Electronic band based in Guildford, England. I designed the logo and artwork for their debut EP. Go and listen to the tracks on their official website here >> CLICK // To see photos of the new Static Plan Digipak >> CLICK

With the release of their debut EP in April 2012, the band are successfully recapturing the atmosphere and creativity of the underground Metal scene of the early 1990′s, with a fusion of Alternative Rock, Industrial and Grunge that “rifles and entrances the senses”. However, it is Static Plan’s commitment to exploring modern technologies and mixing it with their influences that helps them create a sound that it is “constantly intriguing and never predictable.”

Paul Montague

I did this website back in 2005 for a very good old friend of mine called Paul Montague. He used to live and work in Brixton and now lives in a lovely small village in Spain. He is an amazing talented sculptor who mainly works with steel but rather than forging the steel in a traditional sense, he is more concerned with the ‘plastification’ of the material. He uses the bar like ink which allows him to draw directly in a spatial context, using ‘the line’ as a means to construct and building with geometric shapes, brought together in a simple sequence.

I have recently updated his website and he now has a Flickr account which we will be often updated with his latest creations. Check it out >> HERE

Twisted Beds & Drones

This is project number 8 and the second design of the third trilogy of artworks I am creating for the Music Publishing and Sync Licensing company Twisted Jukebox. Here is the artwork I created for ‘Twisted Beds & Drones’ which takes inspiration from dark, Sci-fi, and thriller movies. I really enjoy creating these cinematic, movie-inspired images. Check out more about this project here >> CLICK

Suzzan Blac is the goddess of Gore and I totally agree. I just TOTALLY fell in love with her paintings. It is very dark and emotional with social messages (check out the Abasement of dolls series on her website which depicts the sexual conditioning and exploitation of females.). I have always found beauty in dark and bizarre images and I have always loved deviant and provocative art in general. Now I just want to see an exhibition of her work which is truly fantastic !! ART IS WAR !!

Suzzan says : “I love to paint images of human emotions, especially the ‘negative’ ones..because we are conditioned to suppress these, but I believe that is wrong, they can destroy a person…so, I embrace mine and channel them into what you see.. pain, anger, fear and suffering…It is a universal pain..which I share with so many people who relate to my work..I am their evasive reflection.”
