Shellshock: the four-piece band from Watford, UK who fuse metal with drum and bass blastbeats into their own unique, raucous ‘E Metal’ sound. Formed in 2000 by four driven individuals who wanted to strive to create a unique, flawless sound in music by fusing the styles of dark DnB and aggressive, in your face Metal. Their pulsating, energy driven live shows soon saw them ramming local venues to the rafters. More highly successful UK shows followed with the band being offered to support Skindred on a 26 date tour. The fiery live show attracted the attention of the rock press.

Shellshock MAY 2012 : announce the release of their 2nd full length album BORN FROM DECLINE featuring the single/vide release THE MAZE, along with 11 other examples of E-Metal brutality. BORN FROM DECLINE is available to buy at iTunes, Amazon and our own E-Store and in stores worldwide now! The album is produced by Justin Hill (Sikth).

The design of the album (10 page booklet) – first shows a city landscape of destruction from a far distance and then each double page of the booklet shows a closer part of the city till we end up inside a building with the actual band. I had a lot of fun designing the artwork – It was a long process and it was great to work closely with the band – discussing ideas etc.

The album is amazing ! I really recommend it ! If you are fans of bands like Pitchshifter, Fear Factory, Sikth … YOU WILL LOVE THIS ALBUM ! Listen to the previews on iTunes ! My personal favorite track is Damnation.

ETERNAL QUARTER are a Hard/Classic Rock band hailing from Manchester. MENACE are a hard rock band from Norway founded in 2009. Their music lays between 80′s heavy/hard rock and alternative metal. They contacted me after seeing my work in my portfolio and asked me to design the EP sleeve artwork for their upcoming CD called “Rock’n'Roll Rebels” which is due out in july 2012. Gas mask, mutants, destruction, apocalypse, war, bombs, apocalypse, skulls … the keywords which lead me to this design. ROOOCK’NNN’ROOOOOLL !

I have recently finished working with the russian rock group Таймсквер (Timesquare). They got in touch with me and asked me to design the artwork and sleeve for their new EP (digipak) and a website page to promote their latest work. Following on from the extremely popular Animato and Spiritoso titles, this month saw the release of the latest collection from sample pioneers Zero-G to form a trilogy of titles dedicated to introducing more realism to sampled instruments. All 3 covers have been designed by DOSEprod. This new DVD is a 15GB collection of thousands of live recorded 6-bar looped phrases performed by two world-class violinists from the Liverpool Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
