Emerging from the rural plains of Somerset, Zoltar Speaks hurl out fiery jack hammer riffs boned with enticing refrains. Drawing from the thrashcore belligerence of Pantera meshed with the attitude of Skunk Anansie, and laden with the technical innovative zest of Coheed and Cambria. Zoltar Speaks have twisted a style uniquely their own and unleash it to devastating effect. Save As I Save’ was out Nov 11th 2013 and you can order your copy here >> CLICK
I also did a t-shirt design for them which will revealed soon.
‘Blood and Glory’ is my latest design for Twisted Jukebox – This is the twelfth digital release cover I have designed for this company this year. (Music production Library catalogue for motion picture advertising, TV, gaming and brand promotion). The inspiration for this one was films like 300 and Immortal and also the serie Spartacus ‘God of the Arena’… “There will be no glory in your sacrifice..” - Official website >> CLICK HERE
Blood, Sweat + Vinyl: DIY in the 21st Century - I can’t wait to see this documentary about three of my all time favorite independent music labels featuring bands I totally love like Neurosis, ISIS, JESU, GY!BE, Pelican … I’ll be buying this on DVD as soon as it’s out for sure. This film is an answer to those who question where the spirit of punk rock is today. WORD! I wish I could work with any of these bands – labels one day.
Press kit : This captivating documentary is the product of five years of obsessive filming of live concert footage, exclusive interviews, and historic documentation focusing on three fiercely independent music labels and their bands. These labels combine hard-to-define, heavy music with a visual aesthetic that has enraptured worldwide fans, without the need for radio or corporate media outlets. They uphold the legacy of treating music as an art form, not as a product. >> Check out the trailer and website for more information >> CLICK
Project number 7 and beginning of the third trilogy of artworks I am doing for Music Publishing company Twisted Jukebox. Here is the artwork I created for ‘Twisted Tools’ which takes inspiration from horror and slasher movies. Had fun taking the original photos which I then photoshoped to death. In 2006, I did the first Trailers Tools artwork for PP Music (Music Licensing company) which was to become a Trilogy. The next year I then did Trailer Tools 2 and then the third one. The idea was to go for a same theme to be used for all three CDs and take inspiration and influences from horror B-movies posters and art… Serial Killers, vampires, ghosts, gore, blood, more blood and more more blood …. Check it out ! (oh and yes… that is me on TT1 and TT2).
