The anticipated Celldweller full-length album, Wish Upon A Blackstar will be officially released on June 12, 2012. The expansive 16 track album has been years in the making and I actually started working on the artwork for this album almost 3 years ago. When I came up with the concept for Celldweller of creating one large image and splitting them up into chapters and revealing at each release a new part of the artwork, I thought of how to to do this and I had to start with creating the central and final piece which was going to be the blackstar and then work backwards and create the full artwork. I went through many versions and experimented a lot before getting to this final cover which has many details. The Deluxe Edition of the album features the long-awaited final scene from my series of images from the original digital album chapters. I have recently finished working with the russian rock group Таймсквер (Timesquare). They got in touch with me and asked me to design the artwork and sleeve for their new EP (digipak) and a website page to promote their latest work. Following on from the extremely popular Animato and Spiritoso titles, this month saw the release of the latest collection from sample pioneers Zero-G to form a trilogy of titles dedicated to introducing more realism to sampled instruments. All 3 covers have been designed by DOSEprod. This new DVD is a 15GB collection of thousands of live recorded 6-bar looped phrases performed by two world-class violinists from the Liverpool Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. This is my first DVD cover for Murphy’s Magic Supplies, inc. It’s called Twisted Sisters which is a diabolical effect from the creative mind of John Bannon and is one of magic’s all time best-sellers! I had fun going for a Pulp Fiction style of artwork for this DVD. Official website here >> CLICK
