I got these Deadhead DOSEprod Mugs produced last week to see how they looked like and the final result and the print is actually quite good ! I now enjoy my dose of tea and coffee in these deadhead mugs everyday ! I may get a bunch done and add them in my future DOSEprodSHOP which will now hopefully be ready in september .. Sorry for delay my friends ! I have been busy with a lot of work and a bit of time off (it’s summer after all)… What do you think about the idea of selling these in the DOSEprodSHOP ? WE DID IT ! Last year when I started sicker bombing my DOSEprod stickers all around my town and everywhere place I went to – I thought it would be great to get to make 1000 photos of this guerilla art project. VICTORY !!! 1000 photos have now been uploaded to the DOSEprodaganda photo gallery. How cool is this huh? What’s next then… Well let’s aim for a thousand more! All the photos have been taken in many different streets and places all around Scotland and England and also in many different countries (France, Mexico, China, USA, Germany, Spain…). I would like to thank the main DOSE-terrorists who helped me out and sent me many photos to complete this project : Bruce Cowie, Paul and Nat Hayles and Jason Corbett and of course thanks also to all the other persons who sent me one or two. This image-face was a detail of my artwork ‘Why Not?‘ which I created back in 2006. I sold many of them as posters back then and it seemed that the little dude with his lovely face had a bit of success – I named him the ‘dead head’ to describe him on the poster. A few years after I created a promo sticker for DOSEprod with this image and started to give them and send them around and stick them up everywhere I could… it was the beginning ! It has now begin my logo and symbol for DOSEprod. Since last year I have done many t-shirts, badges and stickers with the Deadhead image and the little fella is starting to be recognized in the streets ! More guerilla art projects on the go – More stickers, tees and surprises soon up in the DOSEprodSHOP (opening in july).
