Yesterday I did this last minute job for earthtone9 – Advert/flyer for the upcoming december tour – Which will be in ROCK SOUND mag soon and used for promoting the tour. Christmas has come early this year ! great news ! If you haven’t seen them live get your ass down there because they are such a good band to see live. I’ll be there again and happy to see this great band for the 4th time on stage after checking them in France more than 10 years ago (opening for Pitchshifter), then headlining at Damnation festival last year, and again in Glasgow a few months back. They have also just done a new great video for their new amazing single ‘Tide of Ambition’ which has got metal, zombies, hot chicks, shipping containers and the guitarist Owen wearing a DOSEprod Hoody and the bass player Dave wearing a Jason Corbett hoody (amazing tattoo artist and friend of mine). How cool is that huh? After designing earthtone9‘s album “Inside, Embers Glow…” (in 2010) I am happy to announce that I will designing the artwork for the next earthtone9 EP which is being released in May 2011 during the upcoming UK shows. Also THIS IS MENACE (the supergroup made up of members from no less than 19 bands – including Killing Joke, Funeral  For a Friend, New Model Army, Fightstar, Napalm Death, Therapy?, Hundred Reasons, Carcass, Sixth,  New Model Army, Amen, The Ghost of a Thousand, Murder One and Pitchshifter) have announced a huge give-away in support of the reformation and upcoming tour. They are offering up a FREE album (or DVD) to the first 100 people through the door at every one of the upcoming earthtone9 shows.

I also did the design for both THIS IS MENACE albums (No end in Sight in 2005 and The Scene is dead in 2007) and did all the authoring, designs and animations for the DVD (Emotion Sickness)… So you will be really getting your DOSE during this tour !

The band earthtone9 came from Nottingham and were one of the most promising British metal bands (it’s hard to label et9 with one genre) between 1998-2002.

They returned in 2010 and have played a first gig headlining at the Jagermeister Stage at Sonisphere which was a huge success. They will be playing at Damnation Festival in Leeds on the 6th of november with The Dillinger Escape Plan, October File, Paradise Lost, The Construct …. I’ll be there !
