Here is my latest digipak artwork produced for the mighty BigBlindMedia Magic company. Cameron Francis Double Bill : ‘The Inside Job VS Aperture’. Two fantastic gaff card tricks. When I received this project to do – I looked back in all the DVDs I had designed for BBM in the last couple of years and I wanted to do a style or something new which we hadn’t done before. Playmoo is a french illustrator who lives in Paris. I’ve known his work for many years now and I really like his style (my favorites are the black and white ones). He has a passion for the macabre world and his work is influenced by the iconography of the Middle-age mixed and combined with old-school tattoos, skulls and zombies. Luke Insect Studio are based in Brighton and have been working for over 10 years designing illustrations for global brands and independant record labels. They designed the artwork for the latest Prodigy album ‘Invaders must die’. I like their surreal pop art imagery and retro style.
