I have just added a new digipak to the portfolio. Static Plan is an Alternative Rock/Electronic band based in Guildford, England. I designed the logo and artwork for their debut EP. “With the release of their debut EP in April 2012, the band are successfully recapturing the atmosphere and creativity of the underground Metal scene of the early 1990′s, with a fusion of Alternative Rock, Industrial and Grunge that “rifles and entrances the senses”. However, it is Static Plan’s commitment to exploring modern technologies and mixing it with their influences that helps them create a sound that it is “constantly intriguing and never predictable.”

I recently did this t-shirt design for the Digital Hardcore Producer GOETIA who is a young French artist from Montpellier. This is our second collaboration as I also produced a teaser movie and album cover for her 3 years ago.

A native of Morocco, she arrived in France in 1998, where she discovered the Techno/Hardcore scene; having previously been the singer of metal band Immortal Spirit. She decided to get involved by composing and created the Elektronoize association with a friend. In 2002, she released her first Ep on Neurotoxic and now after 10 years she’s one of the most important Terrorhead who marked the hardcore French scene. Check out the GOETIA sound here >> CLICK

Some of you may know that my dad played with Hawkwind back in the days and and he has always played in bands and has collaborated with many great musicians (Topper Headon of The Clash, Henry Mc Culloch of Wings, Jalal Nurinda of The Last Poets, Cropdusters…). For many years now he has been doing music under the name of ‘Lastwind‘. I’ve been doing the artworks for the previous EPs and albums and my dad is actually working on the next biggest project which is the recording of the next album which will be called ‘Return of a Sonic Assassin’ and which will be released early summer 2012 on Flicknife Records. I will be designing the album artwork and I am currently working on setting up the new website. Here is the new logo I have designed for music composer Chris Haigh. I also designed some artwork for him which he has used as a background image on his new website. He wanted me to design a very cinematic and epic image which could look like a poster for a upcoming SciFi action film. I must say I had a lot of fun designing this image.

Over the last year Chris has primarily moved from composing Independant film scores to mainly working on music for Motion Picture, T.V and Games Advertising companies such as GOTHIC STORM, PSI RECORDS, SONIC SYMPHONY, BOOSEY AND HAWKES, IMMEDIATE MUSIC… Chris has also had his music featured extensively on BBC Radio 1, featured in the International Trailer campaign for M.Night Shyamalans DEVIL and Liam Neesons Thriller UNKNOWN. In 2008, I was happy to work and to collaborate with tech-glitch-electro-punks dRAWBACKS who are brothers Dan and Tim Rayner + Alex Baker on drums. I was hired to design their new logo, to create all the artwork concept for the album ‘Blacklight‘ + and to set up their website. Now 3 years later dRAWBACKS have finally announced their 2011 come-back ! Yo ! Great news and I am very excited about this and I can’t wait to see/hear more.
